Hi, I’m Deepa Itha, a Yoga therapist (IAYT-accredited school) here to support you in finding balance, relaxation, and better health. I use gentle movement, mindful breathing, and simple lifestyle changes like diet and rest to support both body and mind.

I work with people facing long-term health challenges—especially those related to digestion, joint pain, hormonal changes, fatigue, and stress. These practices help ease discomfort, improve mobility, calm the nervous system, and support deep, lasting healing.

My Journey:

I’m Dr. Deepa itha formerly a Diabetologist who worked at our family-run gastro hospital for over 10 years. My own health challenges including cervical spondylosis and gastritis led me to explore yoga. As I experienced healing, my curiosity deepened which led me to learn more about Yoga and healing .
I went on to complete a 500-hour RYT (Yoga Alliance) teacher training and an 850-hour Yoga Therapy program from Yoga Vahini, an IAYT-accredited school.

Alongside yoga, I’ve also trained in Ayurveda to guide students with simple home remedies and lifestyle changes that support natural healing rhythms. I believe in a holistic, compassionate approach meeting each person where they are.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting and reading, which keep me grounded and inspired.
